Proposal Number: FS AY 2011-2012-1: This proposal requires a C or better for admission into 200 level psychology courses that require General Psychology as a pre-requisite: PSY 208, PSY 210, PSY 212, PSY 214, PSY 216, PSY 230, PSY 234, PSY 235, and PSY 240. Currently, students may take 200 level psychology courses with any passing grade in General Psychology. A student at the C- or D level in General Psychology is unlikely to be adequately prepared for the material in upper-level psychology courses. This is setting up the underprepared student for failure.
