Math Lab Requirements

Update for developmental math courses! For MAT020 and MAT030 there are no required lab times. The only required time they have is their class meeting time. They do have to go the MLC (math learning center, or tutoring lab, whichever you call it) to take their tests. They can go to the MLC to do anything in the course, homework, practice tests, and study plan, but are not required to be there for those portions of the class. Starting in spring 2012, all of the instructors will have a lecture time (at this point, I don’t know when they are), but these lectures are optional and the students can attend any time that is available to them. We will have specific topics each week that we will be teaching, and, from what I understand, there may be some that will be an “as needed” lecture. Whatever someone needs help with, they can just simply ask. B506 will still be the MLC, B509 most likely will be used sometimes as a testing room only. As I get any updates, I will update everyone.
