DIF courses

The new course designation DIF stands for Differentiated Education. MAT 030 is the first course to use this designator. In these courses, students are provided with different avenues for processing, constructing, and making sense of ideas; it also means developing teaching materials so that all students within a classroom can learn effectively, regardless of differences in ability. In the case of MAT 030, students are given the opportunity to adjust the methods and the timeline on which they learn the material.
